Camping is just a simple way to enjoy the great outdoors. If you want to escape the busy life of the urban zone, definitely, you can enjoy serenity and feel revived by simply experiencing life with nature.

As a camper, you need to make sure everything is on hand before you set foot on your journey to the wilderness. Camping is not like strolling in the mall. At times when you feel hungry, you can't just buy your food in the store and voila! You're ready to eat. So definitely, if you want to enjoy camping, you have to know your camping supplies . All of these should always be on hand. If in any case the need arises at least you have something to use. Here are some of the basic supplies you need to have when you go on camping.

Food and Water- You need to pack enough food and water for the whole duration of the trip. Sometimes you can go fishing and that could add up to your food supply. But there's nothing compared to coming to a battle prepared. Especially when you have kids, you can bring food that could pump up their energy. Water is also essential. But if any case you find another water supply, make sure you sterilize it. You can never be too sure.

First Aid Kit- Make sure your supplies in the first aid kit has been refilled. Bring medication for stomach upset or pain and fever, as well as, supplies for wound treatment and anti-biotic creams. It's not being hypochondriac. Just making sure that when emergency arises, there'll you'll be.

Insect repellants- If you're the type of person who attracts a lot of mosquitoes, definitely you want to make sure you have one of these. It is a precaution to take just to avoid possible bites from carriers of various illnesses.

Toiletries- You have to maintain cleanliness even when you are out camping. So make sure to pack up those soap, toothpaste and toothbrush, mirrors, combs, toilet papers (just in case you can't find a restroom) and many others. Well, it doesn't mean we're experiencing survival we should sacrifice hygiene, right?

Batteries and Films- Batteries are essential because they will be your energy source for your camping equipment such as the flashlight and the camera. Depending on how long your camping trip would last, pack enough batteries that you could use.

It is a definite that there will be a lot of good scenery to capture. Get those films rolling! Make sure you have enough

Matches and Lighter- Fire is everything in camping. You have to find some source of heat when having those long crazy talks outside the tent and of course, how would you cook? So to ease up building fire, bring those handy lighters and matches. You don't have to start fire by rubbing two stones. Believe me it's hard.
