Coleman Candles & Lightsticks

Lanterns, flashlights and headlamps are all great for providing light around your camp but there is still nothing quite like candles for affordable light in a light package. For many a Coleman lantern is the ultimate way to light your camp but unfortunately things can happen and every campsite should have a backup plan for light in an emergency. If you break your lantern or run out of fuel for it these emergency candles can be used to take its place. Since they are small and lightweight it is easy to pack these along and you know they will work since they are not dependant on fuel or bulbs to operate.

Emergency candle are also very popular with backpackers a very lightweight way to fend off the darkness when you have to carry in all your supplies. Many backpackers use camping headlamps as their primary light but bringing lots of batteries can get heavy. By using candles around their campsite they can save their batteries for the times they really need lots of light and still have a light pack to carry. Plus candles are much more reliable than other lighting methods making them nearly flawless to use.
